Acne sucks! It doesn’t get any simpler than that. It’s something no person wants to ever deal with and wouldn’t even wish on their worst enemy (actually…maybe they would).

Acne used to be something only preteens and teenagers suffered from because of their changing hormones, but nowadays even young adults and people even older are dealing with acne.

Hell, I deal with it myself from time to time and I’m in my late twenties. For me it could be a hormone issue but I doubt it very much. I’m pretty sure it has to do with what I stuff my face with.

My acne flairs up depending on what I eat. My body can’t tolerate anything milky, cheesy, meaty, oily, salty, sweet or fried. The list sounds so depressing because that’s damn near everything found on the food pyramid.

So, how do you get rid of acne? It’s going to be hard. I takes extreme discipline to get rid of your acne once and for all. It’s all about what you eat and your activity level.

I honestly think I was meant to be a vegan or some version of it because when I eat mostly natural and unprocessed foods my skin looks flawless. Literally, I’ve had random people ask me on the street “what do you use on your face?”

I tell them “Fruits, veggies and a little bit of complexion soap made in Amish country.”

A lot of people eat horribly and they don’t realize that their diet plays a huge role on how their skin looks. Eating fatty burgers, cheesy pizza’s or creamy pasta’s isn’t going to help your skin.

I’m sure you’ve noticed when you eat fatty, cheesy, or greasy foods you tend to break out the next day or even a few days later. That’s because your body is trying to rid itself of all the toxins it doesn’t want.

So to get rid of your acne you will need to dramatically change what you eat. Start eating more healthy plant based foods and drinks and I promise you will see a dramatic improvement in your skin.

If you’ve been eating bad for a long time and you start to improve your diet you might break out at first because your body is trying to remove all the built up toxins. Once that phase is over and you stop breaking out you will begin to see beautiful glowing skin.

Working out will also help to get rid of toxins from your body and clear all your clogged pours by sweating. Don’t be afraid to get into your workout and sweat sweat sweat!
