Try not to exercise too close to bed time because it will cause you to be hyper to fall asleep. The effects of working out may not have an immediate effect on sleep but a study in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine found that it can take up to four months for those beginning an exercise routine to have a positive effect on sleep.
  2. Controls Your Weight: Exercise can help prevent excess weight gain and can help maintain weight loss results. When you engage in some type of physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense your workout is, the more calories you burn. You don’t need to set aside a large amount of time for exercise to see weight loss benefits. If you don’t have time for an actual workout, get more active throughout the day by taking the stairs instead of the elevator or going for a walk outside during your lunch hour at work.
